Release 2.0 of the Grid Reliability Platform is available to existing clients from today and will be included in new deployments immediately.
What is new
- Configurable alarm escalation, with escalation paths defined per asset class and per shift pattern
- A redesigned substation view that shows the pre-fault waveform record alongside the alarm
- Support for IEC 61850 edition 2, in addition to the existing DNP3 and Modbus drivers
- An export format for regulatory submission, developed with three client compliance teams
Upgrade path
The upgrade is applied in place and does not require a substation outage. Configuration from release 1.x is migrated automatically, with the exception of custom alarm rules, which are reported for manual review. We recommend scheduling the review before the upgrade window rather than after.
Clients under a managed support agreement will be contacted by their lead engineer to agree a date. Release 1.x remains supported until June 2027.
