Our automation practice takes responsibility for the full control stack: field instrumentation, safety circuits, PLC logic, HMI design and the supervisory layer above them. Nothing is written until a functional design specification has been agreed with your engineering team.
What the engagement covers
- Functional and detailed design documents, issued for your review and sign-off
- PLC and safety logic developed to IEC 61131-3, under version control and peer review
- HMI and SCADA configuration, including alarm rationalisation
- Factory and site acceptance testing, witnessed and documented
- Commissioning scheduled around your production calendar
Platform independence
We hold current engineering competency on Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff and Schneider platforms and we are not tied to any of them. Where a site already has a control standard we work to it, rather than proposing a migration you did not ask for.
Handover
At handover you receive the complete document set: as-built drawings, commented source code, test records and an operations manual written for the people who will actually use it. Everything is yours to keep, including the right to have another firm maintain it.
